Religious Ceremonies in unusual venues

- Scot's Law allows a licensed clergyman to marry a couple anywhere they wish, as long as a marriage schedule has been purchased and two witnesses are present.
- This means that you can choose to marry anywhere from a hotel or ruined castle to the top of a mountain or in a hot air balloon (it must, however, be tethered at the time).
- In Scotland, couples are not restricted by the hour in which they marry. Unlike England, if you want to tie the knot before a dramatic sunset over dark Loch Nagar, you can.
- Bear in mind, however, that any willing clergyman may charge just a little more than usual to indulge you.
