 Get Kilted Out

A decade ago there would only have been a handful of men who would wear a kilt to a wedding. Now the tartan army is in full march and it's all the rage!
"There's no doubt that men have become more passionate about kilts of late, " says Ambrose Moore of Mackenzie Menswear, Glasgow. "We're now selling kilts all over the world and the current generation love it!"
Originally a symbol of your family, your clan and your country, these days modern tartans are muscling in on the act and a Rangers tartan, a Celtic tartan and a Scottish Rugby Union tartan are now recognised as the genuine article and registered with the Scottish Tartan Society.
But, as Ambrose can testify, when it comes to wearing the kilt, some people can get it very wrong indeed...

"At Slanj our motto is 'a kilt is for life, not just for a wedding.' We find more and more grooms are getting married in a kilt, and looking on it as an investment - and because of the world wide web we are getting orders from all over the world."
